Overview

The web server is developed to provide detailed information on the experiments. The reason is that some experiments are not described in the paper owing to the space limitation. The readers can click Experimental Results to download the experimental results. The experimental environment and software websites used in the experiments are provided below. The source codes of the algorithms is also provided and are available to download.

Experimental Environment

All experiments were performed on laptop with 1.60 GHz Intel Core i5 CPU and 16 GB of main memory. The algorithms are implemented in Java by using the OWL API for ontology loading and manipulation and Pellet reasoner for satisfiability checking.

Software

The experiments are conducted using Pellet version 2.3.1. The OWLAPI version 3.4.3 is used for ontology loading and manipulation. The OWL API can support the manipulation of ontologies at the level of axioms and is thus suited for the implementation of the MUPS computing algorithms.
